I'm Filipe. I hold a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector from Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK as well as a TEFL qualification. I hold a degree from South Bank University(qualifications can be provided on request.)
I have got 17 years of teaching experience delivering English language classes in schools, community centres, online as well as private tuition.
I'm currently working for the council teaching English.

Practical English for Everyday Life and WorkDevelop the confidence and skills to communicate effectively in English, both in everyday situations and in the workplace. This comprehensive 29-session course covers essential vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and speaking skills, with a strong emphasis on practical communication.You will build your vocabulary in areas such as food, travel, sport, shopping, weather, countries, nationalities and daily routines. You will also develop a solid foundation in English grammar, including verb tenses, pronouns, possessives, adjectives, prepositions, articles and sentence construction.Each session includes practical activities to help you use English in real-life situations, from reading timetables and completing forms to understanding conversations and telling the time. You will practise scenarios such as shopping, visiting the doctor, eating out, travelling and making appointments.The course also prepares you for the workplace. You will learn how to discuss your experience and skills, complete job applications, prepare for interviews and communicate about your work.By the end of the course, you will have the vocabulary, grammar and practical communication skills to introduce yourself confidently, talk about your life and work, express your opinions and handle a wide range of everyday and professional situations.
